It’s a tale as old as time. Boy grows up, completely enamored with a computer-generated Italian plumber. He pumps his college fund, in quarter form, into Donkey Kong. Later, he grows inch-thick calluses on his thumbs playing Super Mario Brothers on the original NES. He suffered through Super Mario Sunshine, and has the entire season of Super Mario Adventures, staring Captain Lou Albano as Mario, on DVD. Finally, he marries a nice girl named Pauline, and has three kids: Shigeru, Luigi, and Diddy. Poor Diddy.

Featuring Mario and his friends and enemies through his evolution from 15 pixel high sprite to fully 3d-rendered hyperbeing. Do a faithful recreation of your favorite levels, or create your own, using your own space as a template.

Okay, just about everyone has a red laser pointer. Heck, we even sell a fine one here at ThinkGeek. But, we’re pretty sure you want to be a superior geek - and doing it with a green laser is the way to go.

This pointer is significantly brighter (about 50 times) than a red laser pointer and because of its unusual color it is much more noticeable. I mean come on, a 532 nm green laser wavelength is obviously superior to a laughable 650 nm red laser wavelength. And unlike a red laser, the green beam itself can be seen in mid-air in dark conditions, not just the laser beam dot. This allows the green laser pointer to be used for pointing to star constellations (skypointing) and also just generally look cool as hell. The green laser beam dot can be seen at much greater distances than with a red laser pointer.

Since green direct injection laser diodes aren’t readily available, this pointer is based on the use of Diode Pumped Solid State Frequency Doubled (DPSSFD) laser technology. A high power IR laser diode at 808 nm pumps a tiny block of Nd:YVO4 generating light at 1,064 nm which feeds a KTP intracavity frequency doubler crystal to produce the green beam at 532 nm.

Very bright green laser at 532 nm wavelength

Output power of <5mW (Class IIIa Laser Product)

Range of approximately 9,000 ft (2600 m) in darkness

1.1 mm beam diameter at source

Momentary push button switch

Solid, heavy duty construction

Constant wave output (as opposed to pulse output)

Takes 2 “AAA” batteries (included)

Can be used for skypointing, projection on low clouds, signaling, highlighting potential explosives

Dimensions: 5.6″ x .5″ dia

Writing a good ad title

Article:
Writing a good ad title

Answer:
The title of your ad is arguably the most important aspect as this is what people see in the categories and search results and that is what is clicked on in order to view the rest of your ad.

By default, when somebody runs a search, it’s your ad title that is searched so your title must contain descriptive words that describe what you’re offering.
If your ad title doesn’t describe what you’re advertising, it can’t be returned in the results when somebody runs a search.

Your title should be short and concise and should accurately describe what is being offered in your ad.

Bad titles include generic phrases such as “For Sale” or “Best Offer” as titles like those give potential buyers no idea what you’re offering so they will be unlikely to click on your ad to view the rest of it.

Examples:
If you were selling a 1966 Ford Mustang, your ad title should be “1966 Ford Mustang” rather than something more generic such as “For Sale” or “Great Car” otherwise your ad won’t be returned when somebody searches for a 1966 Ford Mustang meaning you’ll miss out on a potential sale.

If you’re advertising a chocolate AKC registered Chihuahua puppy, your ad title should be “Chocolate AKC Registered Chihuahua Puppy” and not something generic such as “Available in June!” or “Great with kids” otherwise your ad can’t be returned if somebody searches for a chocolate Chihuahua puppy.

If you’re advertising a work from home envelope stuffing business opportunity, your ad title should be something like “Work from home envelope stuffing” and not something like “Looking for employees” or “Earn $30,000 per month!” as your ad cannot be returned if somebody is searching for an envelope stuffing opportunity.

The best titles are always short and descriptive, for example “1990 Ford Mustang for sale” or “8 week old Chihuahua for sale”.
Ads with this type of title are usually much more successful because it’s easy for customers to see what’s being offered which attracts more clicks, more people finding your ad through searches, and more viewings of the ad.

Never underestimate the importance of creating a great title!

With over 10 million page views per month, we have an extremely diverse audience but it’s down to you to create great ads that generate interest in the items, products or services that you’re advertising!

Writing a good description

Article:
Writing a good description

Answer:
Having a good description can be the difference between making the sale or not making the sale.

It’s important to try and put yourself in the position of the kind of person you’re trying to attract to your ad and ask yourself what information you’d like to see in the ad if you were the person looking to buy.

Short ads with little information rarely perform well while the most successful ads are the ones that include lots of information and descriptions and clear photo’s which answer people’s questions before they ask them.

It’s important to include as much information as possible and include details such as shipping terms, costs, your returns policy if you have one, the total cost, when the buyer can expect to receive the item, if you provide tracking information etc.

Generally speaking, the more information the better as this helps the buyer make an informed decision without having to contact you for clarification on anything that you may have overlooked when creating your ad.

What makes a good ad?

Article:
What makes a good ad?

Answer:
The most successful ads are usually ones that have a clear concise title, a thorough and accurate description with good punctuation, clear pricing, excellent images and any other information which is relevant such as shipping costs etc.

When writing your ads it’s important to try and put yourself in the position of the kind of person you’re trying to attract, and ask yourself what you’d want to see if you were interested in buying, and write your ad accordingly.

Generally speaking, if there were two ads advertising the same item and one of them was clear and concise with lots of information and the other ad was basic with little information, the ad with more information will vastly outperform the basic one.

Ads with little information or bad punctuation send ‘bad vibes’ to buyers who will look elsewhere to buy.

What to avoid when creating an ad

Article:
What to avoid when creating an ad

Answer:
When creating an ad you should avoid adding any irrelevant information that dosen’t relate directly to the content of the ad as this can confuse buyers.

Spelling and punctuation are equally as important because an ad filled with typo’s sends the wrong impression to buyers who will move on to the next ad and buy from your competitor if they have a better written ad.

Ad titles are very important and you should avoid generic titles such as “for sale” as that doesn’t tell potential buyers what’s being offered unless they click and view your ad description.

Ads with short descriptions such as “click my link for details” rarely perform well because the ad isn’t describing to the customer what’s being offered and they’re unlikely to click your link to go to your website unless they know what they’re going for, so having an accurate description is vital.

Using appropriate images in your ads

Article:
Using appropriate images in your ads

Answer:
Having a premium membership or a Photo Pack allows you to upload up to 12 images to each ad.

Uploading multiple images of the item you’re advertising allows you to show potential buyers exactly what you’re offering and can be the difference in making a sale or not.

Just because you can upload 12 pictures doesn’t necessarily mean you should, and you should only upload images which directly relate to the item being advertised in that ad as uploading irrelevant images can easily confuse buyers.

My ad is getting a lot of views but not many replies

Article:
My ad is getting a lot of views but not many replies

Cause:
Ad content

Answer:
If your ad is getting a lot of views but not many replies, that’s a good indication that you’ve created an ad with a good title which is attracting people to click and view your ad, but something in your ad content is making them lose interest once they read it.

It can also mean that your pricing is too high but the most common reason is either a poorly written description or no price being listed, and ads usually get a higher response rate when they display a clear title, clear and thorough description, and accurate pricing.

When writing your ad description, it’s important to try and put yourself in the position of the kind of person that you’re trying to attract and ask yourself what information you’d like to see if it was you interested in the ad.

Ads with photo’s get a lot more attention than those without, because photo ads are shown on our high traffic gallery pages and photo’s are the best way to describe something as they clearly show the potential buyer exactly what it is that you’re offering.

Grammar, spelling and punctuation are very important in all aspects of your ad, and you should be careful not to write in all capital letters as it looks ’spammy’, unprofessional, and can be very hard for people to read.

Adding multiple images and a clear and concise description can also have dramatic effects on the performace of your ad.

The performance of your ad depends almost entirely on how well your ad is written, just the same as if you were advertising in a newspaper, a billboard, a magazine or anywhere else.

If you’re getting a good amount of views of your ads and not many people ‘biting’, that’s solely down to what you have written in your ad and is something USFreeads have no control over as advertisers compose their own ads.

As you write your own sales literature (your ads), what you write in your ad, the images you include and how you price your products is what determines whether you’ll make a sale or not, just the same as if you had a mail order catalog, a website, or if you purchase advertising in a magazine, newspaper, billboard or anywhere else which is why it’s important to spend time creating your ads putting yourself in the position of the kind of customer you’re trying to attract.

If you have an email address or a link to your own website included in your ad, people will usually either email you direct or click through to your website for more information rather than respond to your ad through USFreeads.

My ad is not getting many views

Article:
My ad is not getting many views

Cause:
Ad title or wrong category

Answer:
If your ad is not getting many views, it usually means that you’ve either placed your ad in completely the wrong category so the potential customers browsing that category have no interest in your ad, or you have a poorly written ad title.

Titles are the most important part of your ad as that is what people see and click on when they’re browsing a category, and our search system searches your title when somebody runs a search so the title needs to be accurate and contain words that people are likely to search for to find what you’re offering.

If your ad title is not attractive to the people browsing ads in the category in which you placed it, they simply won’t click on it to read your description, just the same as they wouldn’t if they were skimming through ads in a newspaper or anywhere else as they’re only going to read your ad if the title catches their attention and makes them want to read more.

Examples of bad titles:
Lucky1
FOR SALE
PIEBALD female
MAKE $1 MILLION IN ONLY 7 DAYS!!!!

Examples of good titles from the above examples:
Yellow labrador puppy for sale
1981 For Mustang for sale
Piebald female Royal python hatchling for sale
Make extra money stuffing envelopes from home

Grammar, spelling and punctuation are very important in all aspects of your ad, and you should be careful not to write in all capital letters as it looks ’spammy’, unprofessional, and can be very hard for people to read.

You should also avoid outragous claims such as “MAKE $1 MILLION IN ONLY 7 DAYS” and stick to the facts and write an honest and realistic ad.

Many webmasters forget the basics when it comes to link building. An incoming link that does not contain keywords or phrases in its anchor text is nothing more than a poorly designed link, and can hinder the over all potential of your placement on the SERPs. The bottom line in your SEO efforts is achieving high ranking for your site and its pages. You wouldn’t omit relevant keywords in your sites Meta content, so why limit your site efficiency with poorly designed anchor text in your inbound links?

It is common practice to develop ‘copy text’ for your sites banner ads, sales letters and related items, so it makes perfect marketing sense to create keyword rich anchor text for the use in your one way links. Many incoming links are the result of a Webmaster or SEO admin who finds value in the content on your site. In most cases, they add a link on their site pointing to yours with a simple link of text that in most case is your site’s name or URL. This method has the visual appearance of being a valid link, but what is missing is the real power of your site’s keywords or phrases.

If your site deals with selling Florida vacation packages, you would want keywords and as many possibilities used in your sites backlinks. If you are buying links for your site, then it is only a matter of contacting the site and changing your linking preferences. If on the other had you discover a new inbound link to your site that has weak anchor text, you should send a friendly email to the Webmaster thanking him for his link to your site, and then ask him to edit the anchor text using your keyword rich copy. Keep in mind that having variation in anchor text is as important as they are in your keyword use in your Meta content.

There are also quite a few linking scripts available that will display an easy to use copy & paste line of code that can be added to almost anywhere on your site. If you are on a budget, then creating a simple image or text link that asks for visitors to link to your site is another option.

Controlling how your incoming links are seen on the SERPs is paramount to achieving prominent placement, and the key is using keyword rich anchor text at all times.

One of the MOST important things to get or not to get customers is about choosing the RIGHT Keywords. Using the WRONG keyword will make you get no sale.

Suppose you are selling mobile phone, which keyword that you will going to use?

Let me separate keywords in to 3 groups:

Broad Keywords, this type of keyword is very broad, it will less convert into sale. For example, if you using “phone”, “mobile phone” as keywords, so they are broad since those keyword is using by people that want to make researches on their mobile phone purchasing, they don’t even decide which brand they are going to buy. So, please avoid these type of keywords.

Narrow Keywords, this type of keyword can convert into sale, the characteristics of this keywords are

the keyword contains brand name of the product

the keyword contains model of the product

the keyword contains size, color of the product

For example, if customer search for “Nokia 6230″, “Red Nike Shoe”, this mean that your customers already have something to buy in mind. So, focus on these type of keywords.

Action Keywords, this type of keyword will convert to sale very well. The Action Keywords are something similar like this:

Buy + brand + model: Buy Nokia 6230

Purchase + brand + model: Purchase Nokia 6130

Where to buy + brand +model: Where to buy Nokia 6230

Brand + Model + Store: Nokia 6230 Store

etc…

Hope this help.

Thank and regards,
Tung

I think everyone that new to intenret marketing will face a common question “Which product I should sell?” or there are lot of product to choose on cj.com, clickbank.com, so which one I should promote?, which market I should promote? Am I right ? …

So, I would like to share my method of finding product to be promoted.

First step, you have to select your target markets, ask yourseld who is your customers. You may begin with your customers’ age range, men or women, nationality. In this case I choose women as my target market.

Second step, I has choose women as my target, so now we will break-down our customer criteria. After you breakdown your customer criteria, you will easily think of their need. Here are example:

Women:

Girl (Baby) needs milk, baby shampoo, baby sister …

Girl (Teenage) needs music, dates, chocolate, clothes, cosmetic …

Women (working women) needs premium cosmetics, slim mobile phone, slim laptop

Women (getting married) needs honeymoon trips, flower, diamond, wedding studio…

Women with new born baby needs baby guide, baby equipment, music for baby…

Women with teenage kids needs how to protect their kid from Adult site, buy car for their kid, insurance…

Elder Women needs supplement diet, health check ….

Third step, after you got a list of propect group like above, then you have to do some research on your affiliate provider that the particular commission for specific product is worth to promote or not, this step is a MUST if you using PPC to promote your affiliate campaign.

Forth step, after get product with nice commission, now you need to make keyword research. Go to your google adwords account and see the potential keyword and building your Adwords campaign. At here you can:

make direct linking to vendor page to a specific products

OR you can make a little landing page to review that product, I suggest you to strat making a landing page by using free blog services, such as, workpress.com, blogger.com. After you launch it for a while and have nice convresion, now it time for you to register for a domain name and find a web hosting to your landing page. and Dont’ forget to collect your visiter e-mail (opt-in) so you can communicate with them later

That it! hope this help
